Throughout her life Alice was deeply spiritual. As a young adult she was a devout Roman Catholic. Her primary religious influence had been the Society of the Holy Child Jesus (SHCJ), having graduated first from School of the Holy Child in Suffern NY, and then from Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pa.
Later in her life, following a near death experience on the operating table that left her forever changed, Alice expanded her consciousness to embrace and study a range of faiths, from Sufiism to Unitarianism. In her later years she joined The Universal Third Order, and held regular weekly prayer meetings at her home in Florida.
